We want to make your child's transition into school as smooth as possible. The teacher will be ringing your child's current nursery to find out a little bit about the things your child enjoys doing.
Your child will receive a Home Visit from the teacher and teaching assistant in September. We will let you know when this is as soon as we have made the arrangements.
The purpose of a home visit is to get to know you and your child in a familiar setting. This will help your child feel safe and secure when they start school.
The children will do 2 weeks of part-time school and then will be full-time at the beginning of the third week.
Week beginning 7th September -8.50am - 11.30am
Week beginning 14th September -8.50am - 12.45pm
Week beginning 21st September -8.50am - 3.20pm
We have chosen a part-time induction process because we feel that this will best support your child to settle quickly.
