The children attended our Harvest Festival service on Wednesday 14th October at St Barnabas Church Hall. We asked for donations of tins and dried food which we took along to the Shekinah Mission in Bath Street.
Please take a look at their 'thank you' letter below.
Macmillan Coffee Morning
Our recent coffee morning raised an amazing £132.73! Thank you very much.
Some of you may be aware that during the summer holidays Mrs Cole, mum of Imogen in Year 2, gave birth to a very premature little girl, Lauren.
Mrs Blake was discussing it with the Year 2 children who thought it would be a nice idea to hold a fundraising event to raise money for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Derriford Hospital. We're sure you'll agree, a very worthy cause.
So to celebrate the real due date for Lauren we'll be having a mufti on Wednesday 30th November. Children may wear their party clothes for a monetary donation, amount entirely up to you, and they'll have a small party in the afternoon. The teachers will arrange party games and a small snack so food donations are not needed.
Huge thanks go to you all for your donations to Lauren's Party. We raised £227.10!
Both mum and baby Lauren are out of hospital and are doing well.
