Welcome to the Stuart Road Primary School Friends Association webpage
Our Friends Association comprises of parents and carers of both current and former pupils who endeavour to raise funds to assist the school to pay for facilities, equipment and the little extras that are not automatically provided by the Local Education Authority budget. All parents and carers of pupils at the school are automatically members of the Association on admission.
Active support from parents and carers will always be very welcome and there are many ways that you can become involved with the SRFA. The committee is keen to encourage more members to join them with fresh ideas, and volunteers are always needed to assist with organising and helping at fundraising events. We also provide the refreshments for the children at school events such as sports day and carols in the playground to name but two.
As we are all so busy with life outside of the school, parental involvement is essential to the SRFA so if you can spare any time to help or have any suggestions, please approach one of the committee members. We can usually be found in the playground in the mornings or after school. Alternatively, a message can be left in the office to go in the Friends pigeon-hole.
