Parents' Support Advisor

Welcome to the Parent Support Advisor Page

My name is Sharon Cantrell and I am the Parent Support Advisor employed by Stuart Road Primary School.

I am a non teaching member of staff working alongside parents/carers offering support and impartial advice when needed. This is a confidential service.

On Friday mornings I hold a free ‘Stop for Coffee’ in the dining hall from 9am till 10.30am, this is a chance to meet other parents/carers and relax before rushing off to go shopping or tackle the housework. Occasionally I will invite somebody in to speak about issues i.e. Working Links, see the newsletter or website for more details.

Alongside the ‘Stop for Coffee’ there are 9 volunteer parents who run a Credit Union. This is an opportunity to save flexibly towards occasions such as Christmas, holidays or residential trips. If you would like to find out more or if you have a couple of hours free on a Friday morning to volunteer to help with the Credit Union pop in for a coffee and talk to us we would love to meet you

I work part time at Stuart Road Primary School. I can be contacted Monday-Friday mornings, term time by phone or email . If you need to see me outside these times please contact me and I will make arrangements to see you as soon as possible.
