Key Information

Stuart Road is a Victorian School dating from 1893 and is situated about 10 minutes from the centre of Plymouth in a quiet residential area.

The school has about 225 children on roll. We have large classrooms which allow the children to move freely in their day to day lessons.

Green space is limited but we have worked hard to develop our garden area.

We have strong links with our local secondary schools which allow us to enhance our curriculum.

The school holds the International Schools Award that recognises the work that the school has done in developing children’s wider understanding of the world around them.

On site is a Breakfast/Holiday and Afterschool Club which many of our children attend.

We firmly believe in a co-operative approach to support the learning of our children - valuing the important role you, as parents and carers, have to play in making your child’s education as successful as possible.

We look forward to working in partnership with you.
